PS4 Simulator is not, therefore, an emulator but an app for playing pranks and trying to fool your friends into believing that you can run this Sony console on your device. However, all that's displayed is a looping menu video and some cinematic sequences, so you can't interact with the game even if you see the buttons.
When you select one of the games, PS4 Simulator will simulate both loading and running it. That said, most menu buttons don't work, so you can only navigate through the PlayStation Store, What's New, Test Folder, and Library menus. Once inside, you can navigate freely through the various menus and even pretend to run multiple games from this console, such as God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition. When you open the app, simply double-tap on the screen to start running the interface.
